Frequently asked questions

What are the timelines for joining TOKI’s balancing group?

For existing plants, the joining period is from the 1st to the 10th of the month, and if the process with the Distribution System Operator (DSO) is successful, the contract takes effect on the 1st of the following month.

If the plant is new or under construction, you must provide proof that it has been energized. We will then submit a request to the DSO to join the balancing group, and they will inform us of the plant’s connection timelines.

I am your client. Where should I notify you about a change in my details or the ownership of the plant?

For any change - such as a change in legal form, name, address, etc. - you only need to notify us at producers@toki.bg.

Where should I notify you in case of a power outage at the plant?

Please send a notification to vei.info@toki.bg as soon as possible after the outage occurs. This will allow us to update forecasts and optimize the management of the balancing group.

What documents are required to sign an energy purchase agreement and join the balancing group?

1. For an already operating RES plant (regardless of the grid operator):

2. For newly completed RES plants under Art. 103a of the PTEE (depending on the grid operator):
