Frequently Asked Questions
The answer to whether green energy is more expensive depends on a variety of factors, including region, generation technology, infrastructure costs, etc. In the past, the production of green energy (for example, through solar or wind installations) may have been more expensive compared to conventional energy sources. However, with advances in technology and increasing competition in the sector, green energy prices are often levelling out or even becoming more competitive with conventional energy sources. So, at the moment, the trend is towards greater competitiveness and wider diffusion of green energy.

It comes both from our own capacity and from more than 1,100 independent power producers in the Southeast from whom we buy electricity directly. We do not buy green energy on the wholesale market. Our goal is to diversify our sources of green energy to achieve optimal balance and a high standard of sustainability. Our mission is to continuously increase the percentage of clean energy in the overall energy mix we trade. We achieve this by developing partnerships with more and more producers, as well as by building new power plants of our own.
